"Continue earnestly
in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving" (Colossians
4:2).
Father, ________________
is Your precious gift to me. Grant me a spirit of prayer for her.
Enable me to cover her life in prayer. I pray that I would earnestly
continue in prayer for her. Empower me to be diligent in this, continually
thanking You for her. Amen.

"Husbands, likewise,
dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife as
the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life,
that your prayers may not be hindered" (1 Peter 3:7).
Holy Spirit, make me sensitive
to ________________ and her needs. Cause me to be aware of what
she needs and when she needs it. Teach me how to minister to her.

sensitive to my wife and her needs. I will seek to minister to her
in every way that I can through God's empowering.

"And the LORD God said,
"It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a
helper comparable to him" (Genesis 2:18).
Father, You have ordained
marriage. You created and blessed this wonderful union. How I praise
You for Your wisdom and goodness for creating the institution of
marriage! Father, thank You for ________________. Our marriage is
a gift from You. Help me to rejoice in the precious gift of her
love. Enable us to make the most of our marriage. Deliver us from
anything that would hinder our marriage or Your blessing on our
marriage. Amen.
PRAISE GOD TODAY FOR AT LEAST
FIVE THINGS THAT YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR WIFE. SHARE THOSE THINGS WITH
HER.
My Confession: I will rejoice
in God's gift of marriage. I will rejoice in His work of bringing
my wife into my life. I will rejoice in how He has blessed me through
her.
January 4
"And the LORD God said,
"It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a
helper comparable to him" (Genesis 2:18).
Father, You declare in Your
Word that it is not good for a man to be alone. You have made me
with a need for a helper, a complement. Father, thank You for giving
me __________________. __________________ is Your gift of a helper,
a complement, for me. I pray that we would grow in our ability to
help and complement each other. Help me to depend on her and value
her as my helper, my complement. Amen.
PLEAD TODAY THAT GOD WILL
HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH YOU NEED YOUR WIFE. TELL YOUR WIFE
TODAY HOW MUCH YOU NEED HER.
My Confession: I will acknowledge
my wife as my helper and complement. I will appreciate what she
is to me and what she does for me.
January 5
"And the LORD God caused
a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his
ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the
LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought
her to the man" (Genesis 2:21-22).
Father, You are the Creator
of marriages. _________________ is Your gift to me. She is made
for me and I am made for her. I rejoice in _______________ and praise
You for our relationship. We are accountable to You for what we
do with this marriage. Help us to be the best marriage partners
that we can be to each other. Deliver us from taking our marriage
for granted. Enable us to cherish and use this marriage for Your
glory and our good. Amen.
PRAISE GOD TODAY FOR GIVING
YOU YOUR SPOUSE. ASK HIM TO HELP YOU REMEMBER THAT YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY
IS TO HIM. TELL YOUR WIFE TODAY THAT YOU ARE THANKFUL THAT GOD GAVE
HER TO YOU.
My Confession: I will
acknowledge that my wife is a gift from God. I confess that she
has been uniquely fashioned and made for me. I am accountable before
God for my relationship to her.
